  • Account Information: Email address for authentication and account type (Director or Teacher)

  • Student Information: Limited to first names and last initials only

  • Educational Data: Lesson plans, progress reports, and learning assessments

  • Teacher Assignment Data: For Director accounts, information about which teachers are assigned to which classes

  • Usage Data: Basic analytics about how you interact with our app

  • Device Information: Operating system and app version information

  • Access Logs: For Director accounts, activity logs of teacher actions within their school

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our service

  • To enforce role-based access controls (Director vs Teacher accounts)

  • To manage subscription status and payments (Director accounts only)

  • To enable Directors to monitor teacher activity and manage access

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Data Storage

We use Firebase Firestore as our database provider. All data is stored securely in accordance with Firebase's security standards and practices.

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest

  • We implement strict access controls and authentication requirements

  • Role-based access controls ensure teachers can only access their assigned classes

  • Regular security audits and updates are performed

  • Director accounts have full access to all data within their school

  • Teacher accounts have access only to classes and students assigned to them by their Director

  • Access is managed through secure invite codes and Firebase security rules

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • With Apple App Store or Google Play Store for processing subscription payments (Director accounts only)

  • With RevenueCat for subscription management services

  • With Firebase for data storage and authentication

  • With authorized school staff members within your organization

    • Directors have full access to school data

    • Teachers have access only to their assigned classes and students

  • When required by law or to protect our rights

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account:

  • For Director Accounts:

    • Personal information is permanently deleted

    • Student records are removed from our systems

    • Associated teacher accounts may lose access

    • Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics

  • For Teacher Accounts:

    • Personal information is permanently deleted

    • Access to school data is revoked

    • Student records remain with the school under Director control

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for use by educational professionals and schools. While the app may contain records of students under the age of 13, we strictly limit the collected information to only what is necessary for educational record-keeping purposes (first name and last initial only). We do not collect any additional personal information from students.

The collection and input of student information into our app is performed by authorized educational institutions who are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents and permissions in accordance with applicable educational privacy laws. We act as a data processor for educational institutions who use our service.

Directors are responsible for ensuring that teachers have appropriate authorization to access assigned student data.

Our app integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Firebase : For authentication and data storage

  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store: For subscription payment processing

  • RevenueCat: For subscription management and coordination
